In my opinion, this is a terrible story. The MC's motivation right off the bat are flimsy at best, but I decided to keep reading anyway. That was a mistake, as 80% through the book, the MC does something absolutely horrendous that made me regret ever giving this series the time of day. If I could give a negative score, I would.
