M12 Media LLC (formerly J-Novel Club LLC) is an American publisher of Japanese light novels and manga translated into English, German, and French. J-Novel Club (often abbreviated to JNC) is a digital-first publisher meaning all its titles are released as ebooks first before selecting titles with the highest digital sales to print physical copies. It streams its products in weekly installments (called prepubs) before publishing the finalized ebooks. On March 6, 2024, J-Novel Club reached a print distribution agreement with Hachette Book Group and Diamond Book Distributors via Yen Press. Hachette will distribute all of J-Novel Club's titles in North America while Diamond Book will handle international sales. New releases began to be distributed through Hachette after June 30, 2024. All books will be listed under Yen Press's "JNC" imprint. On February 1, 2025, J-Novel Club LLC's name was changed to M12 Media LLC. J-Novel Club will continue to be used as its public-facing name.
